Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Growffinity, the CRM built for WooCommerce.

What Is Growffinity?

What is Growffinity?

Growffinity is a CRM built specifically for WooCommerce stores. It gives you customer profiles, order management, segmentation, automation, and revenue analytics in a fast external dashboard. Your WooCommerce data syncs automatically while your WordPress stays fast.

How is Growffinity different from other CRMs?

Two main differences. First, Growffinity is built for WooCommerce, not adapted for it. The data model, features, and workflows are designed around e-commerce from day one. Second, Growffinity runs in an external dashboard rather than inside WordPress. This means no database bloat, no wp-admin slowdowns, and better performance as you scale.

Is Growffinity a WordPress plugin?

No. Growffinity is an external CRM that connects to your WooCommerce store. You can connect directly through the WooCommerce API without installing anything, or use our optional lightweight sync plugin if you prefer. Either way, the CRM runs externally in Growffinity's infrastructure, not on your server.

Who is Growffinity for?

WooCommerce store owners who want better customer insights, order management, and revenue analytics without slowing down their site. Whether you're running a small store or processing thousands of orders monthly, Growffinity scales with you.

Features and Capabilities

What features does Growffinity include?

Core features include customer profiles with purchase history and lifetime value, order management (view, update, create orders), dynamic segmentation based on purchase behavior, workflow automation triggered by e-commerce events, revenue analytics with cohort analysis and churn prediction, and automatic data sync with WooCommerce.

Can I manage orders in Growffinity?

Yes. You can view all orders, update statuses, track fulfillment, add internal notes, and even create orders directly in Growffinity. No need to jump back to wp-admin for order management.

How does segmentation work?

Growffinity creates dynamic segments based on customer behavior. You can segment by purchase history, lifetime value, order recency, order frequency, product categories, and more. Segments update automatically as customer behavior changes.

Does Growffinity include email marketing?

Yes. Growffinity includes email campaigns to segments and groups, plus automated emails through workflows. You connect your own email provider (SendGrid, AWS SES, or MailerSend) so you control deliverability and costs. Processing happens externally so your WordPress stays fast.

What analytics does Growffinity provide?

Revenue-focused analytics built for e-commerce: customer lifetime value, cohort analysis, churn prediction, purchasing trends, and order analytics. You get insights into customer value and behavior without building custom reports.

Can I create automations in Growffinity?

Yes. Growffinity includes workflow automation triggered by e-commerce events like order status changes, segment entry/exit, and customer behavior. These are focused on CRM workflows, not full marketing automation sequences.

Integration and Setup

How does Growffinity connect to WooCommerce?

Two options. You can connect directly through the WooCommerce REST API without installing anything on your site. Or you can install our optional lightweight sync plugin if you prefer that approach. Either way, your customer and order data syncs to Growffinity automatically.

How long does setup take?

Most stores are up and running in under 10 minutes. Connect via the WooCommerce API or install the optional sync plugin, authenticate your store, and your existing customer and order data syncs over. No migration projects, no consultants, no complex configuration.

Will Growffinity slow down my WordPress site?

No. Growffinity runs externally and connects through the WooCommerce API. If you use the optional sync plugin, it runs lightweight background processes that don't impact performance. All CRM processing happens in Growffinity's infrastructure, not on your server.

Does Growffinity work with my existing plugins?

Yes. Growffinity syncs with WooCommerce and operates independently. It doesn't conflict with your theme, page builders, or other plugins because it runs externally.

What WooCommerce data syncs to Growffinity?

Customers, orders, and products. This includes order history, customer contact information, purchase details, and product data. The sync runs automatically so your CRM stays current.

Can I use Growffinity with multiple WooCommerce stores?

Yes. You can connect multiple WooCommerce stores to Growffinity and manage them from a single dashboard. Contact us for details on multi-store pricing.

Data and Security

Where is my data stored?

Your CRM data is stored securely in Growffinity's cloud infrastructure, separate from your WordPress database. This is what enables the performance benefits. Your WooCommerce store remains the source of truth.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Growffinity uses encryption in transit and at rest, follows security best practices, and maintains infrastructure designed for data protection. Your customer data is handled with care.

Do you sell or share my data?

No. Your data is yours. We don't sell customer data, share it with third parties for their marketing purposes, or use it for anything other than providing the Growffinity service.

Can I export my data?

Yes. You can export your data from Growffinity at any time. Your WooCommerce store also retains all original data since Growffinity syncs from WooCommerce rather than replacing it.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your WooCommerce store keeps all its data since Growffinity syncs a copy rather than moving it. After cancellation, your Growffinity account data is retained briefly for reactivation, then deleted according to our data retention policy.

No. All features are included in your subscription. No extension purchases, no add-on fees, no surprise costs.

Migration and Switching

How do I switch from another CRM to Growffinity?

Growffinity syncs directly with WooCommerce, not with your previous CRM. Connect Growffinity to your store and your customer and order data flows in automatically from WooCommerce. No complex migration required.

Will I lose data from my old CRM?

Growffinity pulls data from WooCommerce. Any customer or order data that exists in WooCommerce will sync to Growffinity. Data that only exists in your old CRM (like custom notes or fields not in WooCommerce) would need separate handling if you want to preserve it.

Can I run Growffinity alongside my current CRM?

Yes. Since Growffinity runs externally and syncs from WooCommerce, it doesn't conflict with other tools. You can run both during a transition period or keep another CRM for non-e-commerce purposes.

How do I migrate from Jetpack CRM, FluentCRM, or similar plugins?

Connect Growffinity to your WooCommerce store via API or the optional sync plugin. Your customer and order data syncs from WooCommerce automatically. Once you're comfortable with Growffinity, you can deactivate the old CRM plugin and remove its database overhead.

Comparisons

How does Growffinity compare to HubSpot?

HubSpot is a generic CRM that requires third-party integrations to work with WooCommerce. Growffinity is built specifically for WooCommerce with native integration. HubSpot offers more marketing and sales features you may not need. Growffinity focuses on e-commerce CRM.

How does Growffinity compare to Salesforce?

Salesforce is enterprise software designed for large sales teams. It's expensive, complex, and has no native WooCommerce connection. For most WooCommerce stores, Salesforce is massive overkill. Growffinity is right-sized for e-commerce.

How does Growffinity compare to Jetpack CRM?

Both are built for WooCommerce, but Jetpack CRM runs inside WordPress while Growffinity runs externally. Jetpack CRM adds database load and slows wp-admin as you grow. Growffinity keeps your site fast regardless of scale.

How does Growffinity compare to FluentCRM?

FluentCRM is primarily an email marketing tool that runs inside WordPress. Growffinity is a CRM focused on customer intelligence and order management that runs externally. Different tools for different purposes.

Is Growffinity better than plugin-based CRMs?

For performance and scalability, yes. Plugin-based CRMs add database tables and run queries inside WordPress. As your store grows, performance degrades. Growffinity's external architecture avoids this entirely while providing deeper e-commerce features.
